special issue in the memory of
Victor Klee
For a special issue of
Discrete & Computational Geometry (DCG) honoring the
memory of Victor Klee, we have been asked to serve as
the guest editors.
Thus we cordially invite you to submit
original research articles within
the
scope of DCG to us for the
Vic Klee memorial issue.
The deadlines will be as follows:
December 31, 2007: Notification
of one of the guest editors if you would like to contribute.
Please provide preliminary information about the subject and the size
of your contribution.
June 30,
2008: Final date for submission.
March 31,
2009: Handing over
the (possibly revised) accepted papers to the editors in chief
The goal will be to put together an issue that will be adequate to
honor one of the greatest mathematicians of our field. In particular,
all articles will undergo a rigid refereeing process to make sure that
the special issue will be (at least) of the
same high quality as a regular issue of DCG. The size of the memorial issue
will be approximately 200 pages. Papers that will not make it into the
memorial issue because of this page limitation but are
still of DCG quality will be recommended to the editors in chief to be
accepted into a regular issue.
Yours sincerely,
